As the situation with the COVID-19 pandemic continues to rapidly escalate in Australia and around the world, we want to update customers and stakeholders on the measures Australian Audit has put in place. As you would expect, we will continue to monitor advice from the Australian Department of Health and comply with their guidance.
Our foremost concern continues to be preserving the health and wellbeing of our people and our customers during this period. To date, there has been no incidence of COVID-19 within our Team or members of their households. We have instituted strict measures to mitigate unnecessary risk to ensure that we can continue to deliver a high level of service to you through this uncertain time.
From 19 March to 2 June all our staff worked from home, and all visits to client premises were cancelled.
We have now returned to almost normal service delivery, but may return to remote working at short notice if the health advice requires.
Due to our ongoing investment in high quality IT infrastructure, we are able to continue to offer the same high level of service that you have come to know, without being tied to any one physical location, while at the same time maintaining the highest control over the security and confidentiality of your records.
If we have to return to work from home, or if you prefer we don’t meet in person this year:
You can continue to phone and email our office as you currently do
Any meetings that would have previously occurred face-to-face can occur via video conference
Any audits that would have previously occurred at your office can instead be conducted remotely through a combination of email, phone, video and secure portal communication; as appropriate
When necessary documents may still be posted to our mailbox or couriered to our office
The health and safety of our staff and customers is our highest concern, and we look forward to returning to face-to-face service wherever it is safe to do so.
