Persons who carry on business as a settlement agent must have their trust accounts audited by the approved auditor and the audit report lodged with Consumer Protection within three months of the end of each audit period. These engagements are conducted in accordance with the requirements of the Settlement Agents Act 1981.

We currently carry out about 30 trust account audits for settlements agents each year scaling from medium to some large settlement agencies in WA.
